Webelos Outdoor Leader Training gives adult leaders the practical knowledge they need to introduce Webelos scouts to outdoor skills. The skills presented closely follow the Webelos and Boy Scout Handbooks. The purpose of the course is to ensure that all leaders are familiar with the basic outdoor skills required for Webelos to achieve the Webelos badge and Arrow of Light, and to explain methods to teach those skills.
WHEN: 6:00 pm Friday, May 12, 2017 (check-in begins at 6 pm,) to 6:30 pm Saturday, May 13, 2017 (dinner on Friday is not included)
WHERE: Camp McKee Scout Reservation, Levee, KY (Check-In at the OA Bldg)
COST: $25 per person (covers all meals and course materials)
IF received in the Council office before May 5, 2017, $35 per person after May 5, 2017.
The course fee, registration form and completed medical form are to be delivered to the Blue Grass Council office. A BSA medical form is required to attend (Parts A and B are required, Part C is recommended).
PLEASE NOTE: A minimum of 15 participants must be signed up by May 5, 2017 to hold this course. This course is subject to cancellation if the minimum is not met by May 5, 2017.
